Nope sorry Dubs....All based on my career experience at a very senior level in education.

I don't post views I don't believe. It's no good just cheerleading and inviting self congratulatory "thanks" and mutual back slapping. When teachers go "fishing" for thanks and thanking each other as in the start of this thread to me that's pretty desperate stuff.

Nobody denies there are some good individual people in teaching but the performance and negativity of the UK profession as a whole leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. It would be easier to herd cats than get UK teachers moving forward collectively with any conviction
in the current situation. The UK has never been lower in international pupil tests and standings so UK teaching doesn't fare well in world comparative terms either,

My specific points about the non operation of schools currently, whilst teachers continue to draw comfortable salaries and many refuse to reopen are basically the current facts being reported daily. Most UK kids are now being denied any education and so called "looked after children" are anything but. Independent schools are providing far more online on a daily basis than teachers in UK state schools.

I'm not interested in any online arguments here or anywhere. My views are experience based and I sometimes express them on here because I can't be doing with unbalanced self congratulation and cheer leading. Inconvenient facts still remain facts.
