i don't give a s**t about who joined any bloody army

(newsflash one of my best mates is an ex-squaddie*)

as Yellalee points out, there is a long, long history of the Irish joining up and fighting for the British army

i have never had a problem with tombs.

i have made what i intended to be light-hearted jokes, and posts, but for which my tone has been seemingly misjudged.

There was something to do with helping out ex-service personnel that i helped with on a post on here, i've forgotten what exactly, it's never been a deal of any size for me. He thanked me for it, i just joked that i was happy Chelts was finally getting the help he needed. It never felt like something worth the thanks he extended to me. That felt like he has had an issue with me for many years.

i did nothing to warrant that

it was like his own throwaway line

it gets very tiring to never be given the benefit of that doubt though, and to be constantly criticised, indirectly, nearly every day.

*yeah i know, this so sounds like "i've got nothing against the x, some of my best friends are x" but it's also true
