There are some BIG questions to ask ourselves...

Firstly let me preface this by saying I have a mother in her 80s so clearly I'm very worried.

But we have to deal in facts and science.
If we look at the breakdown of deaths in Italy by age group.

Of the 26,049 deaths only 293 are people under 50
And of those virtually ALL had some kind of high risk pre-existing condition.

The question is how does the vast majority protect the vulnerable?
Knowing that a vaccine is probably a long way off.

Do we shut ourselves in for a greater extended period of time but running the huge risk of destroying the economy which could lead to social breakdowns?
or...
Do we use the herd immunity model which might spike at first but would drop off pretty quickly over time.

As I mentioned lat week, nothing is black and white.
Everything has risks and costs (in terms of human lives)
