Interestingly Archant are holding out the begging bowl right now as paper sales fall through the floor due to lockdown.
Not sure calling a large part of your readership hypocrites is going to help keep Downes or the other dogs**t journalists on their payroll in permanent employment......
He could be permanently furloughed in the very near future 🤣
