so make up that shortfall from the 7 figure salaries of the players and directors

if they don't agree, then make it up through player sales.

Don't make some bulls**t claim that you are protecting jobs in the community, by making the community pay the wages of the lowest paid staff - which is exactly what furloughing is doing.
