It's right to blame the government for lack of PPE

as they have very obviously been culpable in the lack of same and thus complicit in the deaths of NHS workers. It's also quite right to point out that care home businesses should have had more robust plans in place for their own people.

Just for clarity this is not an ideological thing: we'll never know if a different government would have handled this better but I can't believe any government would have made no mistakes on this. Everyone points to NZ but the population density there is a little different to what it is up here (notwithstanding, Ardern *has* done a spectacular job there). We do now have - well, at least a form of socialism: delivered by Tories, which is an interesting position to be in...
