The reason they had to impose a lockdown...

was that you simply cannot realistically maintain worthwhile social distancing without it (we tried that first). Once people are out mixing again then a bit more mixing in sports stadiums makes little to no difference.

it does otherwise they wouldn't ban groups over a certain size
