well if you consider that Paris hospitals have been maxed out for over a week (they've been running trains full of sick people all over france).

an early (and strict) lockdown means that hardly anyone has the virus yet.

They have no tests, no masks.

People have been rioting here for the last two years. They only stopped because of lockdown threats.

When they get out again, it's going to be chaos.
