Always wanted to play as a kid, but there was no way my folks could afford a kit/lessons, and zero prospect of getting access to a kit anywhere else.

Started playing in my late 30s (about 10 years ago) and i love it, totally love it. Crowning glory so far was playing Smells Like Teen Spirit at our company Christmas do, as part of a collective effort to rattle out about a dozen songs performed entirely by staff.
