Quite scary as they said she was showing symptoms of Covid and would be bunged straight into the Covid ward whilst awaiting test results,as opposed to the non Covid ward for the protection of others, which I completely understand. The toughest part being that in her rush to get all her mum's meds and shizz together, she forgot to give her a kiss before the medics drove off. I really thought that would be the last we saw of her.
However, where there's a chance there is hope. Covid result was negative, they've just done a second test and if that's same result they can move her to specialist ward in a different hospital.
The second that she is able to walk we're busting her out and getting her back to ours.
Funny that we get on so well and I've developed such an attachment to her. Ten years ago I f**king hated the mental old cow. Funny how things go.
She was a nurse for 35 years in the very same hospital that she now finds herself in. We got her outside clapping the NHS on Thursday, and she despite her condition, or because of it, she wanted to go find her old nurse's uniform and get back to the front line.
