Arsenal players allegedly refuse 12.5% one year pay cut

which would be reduced to 7% if they make the Europa League and nothing if make the top 4.

All players supposedly been advised by the PFA to agree to 30% wage deferrals only.

If people (not just players) in football don't get real here it could do a lot of damage to the relationship between players, clubs and fans I think. What can clubs do if these guys don't accept reductions whilst they are not playing or even training? Can they furlough them on £2.5K a month, that would be amusing if so?

Not just going for footballers here - I'm sure the same principle applies to a lot of high earning workers.
