Agree that UK response seems very slow

But I think the south Koreans probably already had their app either from SARS before or from the preparations they made after SARS. They have a serious setup of contact tracing and testing that they had fairly ready to go as I understand. We are starting from nothing. Not defending it but just think that is why we are so slow on things like apps. Even Apple and Android are still at stage of developing their joint version of contact tracing apps.
