When it was first suggested TV companies would want money back

I was a bit surprised. Thought it would be a kind of 'act of god' kind of thing and they would just have to put up with it. And considering most of season done. But all in the contacts of course. Seeing this now, seems that maybe putting some clubs in financial trouble bad PR and not good for their future product going forward in terms of things like less money for transfers.
