I can;t recall how long Sky/BT have the rights for (and the foreign deals may be more of a

problem) but you would think they could just say to them that they can knock that off the payments for next season (or the next 2 seasons). It equates to about £37m per club so you would think that if it was over 2 seasons the clubs could just budget for £18m less tv income.

The above is over simplifying it but I would think that something along those lines must be on the table.

I'm surprised that its so clear cut that Sky/BT are still due the payment in full given the reason why the games can't be played.
