NB this is just England so does not include NI, Scotland and Wales.

These break down the figures to show the days the people actually dies so if you look at the all announced deaths figure as at 7th April you can see that the spread is much more even than the daily announced stats indicate and the daily numbers not quite as high as some of the stats currently suggest.

If you look at the announced deaths release for 7th April just below that then you can see, for example, that some of the deaths announced today happened 2 weeks ago and many are spread over the intervening 2 week period.
