My message yesterday....was not after applause or plaudits so I apologise!

I dont go with the whole hero thing.

I am doing my job and if i was given the option right now of being a dermatologist rather than an anaesthetist i would take it!! #hero!!

yes its miserable and harrowing and I dont think i or anyone I work with will be the same people at the end of this.

But the end will come and we will get through this

I can only assume its similar to what the military sometimes deal with. The risk of PTSD is high because its so out of context to all my training. remember ive done major trauma jobs but this is different and relentless.

Im not on here much at the moment (rare off day for my sons 5th birthday) but thanks for your distant support.
