Clearly not 'just' the flu ... we can all agree that

But the point is that someone (government) has to try to balance the relative costs... and though that is an unpleasant thing to have to do it is necessary .. and therefore a proper subject of debate. And plainly- there would come a point (no, I don't know either ..) at which the lockdown cure would be 'worse' than the illness itself.
