Agree 100% with the sentiment, but point of order:
Fingers crossed came in response to Boris in hospital post, 4 mins before the hoping people are civil post.
My first reaction (sadly) was "I hope that's not a fingers crossed he dies" post as I'd just been reading 1000s of similar on twitter 😐
