I’m guessing it’s Duran Duran you’re most disappointed by?

I saw them at UEA in 1981. I was going to say supported by Tears for Fears but I went back to check on the UEA gigs thing and it turned out it was Talk Talk. Tears for fears supported the Thompson Twins the following year.

There was an amazing amount of gigs put on while I was at university. I went to lots of them, but looking over the list, so many with hindsight, I’d have loved to have gone to.

(For goodness sake, who would pick Gary Glitter and then not go to Slade?!)
