I'm ok with the policing.....

a small but significant number of the public just don't get it or just dont care. So a few (and it is a few) well publicised actions by the police only help to drive the message home for those who cant work it out for themselves.
Noticeable in all this is that the right wing (who dont believe in govt or community and want to "drain the swamp") have so lost the argument that they now bleat on about civil liberties and damage to the economy. I'm sure the Nazi sympathisers did the same in WW2!
Rant over - now put the other side of the coin!
PS What I do find odd is that all the pictures of police foot patrols show them walking within touching distance - not 2 metres apart.
