Posture takes a little practice but soon comes naturally. As for handlebars, they should be lower than the saddle and level with the front hub, more or less, so that’s ok. Brakes need modulation and feel, so I think that’s something you get used to. If you want to wear more of a t-shirty thing, get one that’s designed for running or skiing, it won’t be cotton. Skiing base layers are also good for long sleeved rides. Then when you lose a few pounds (this is what I found anyway) you feel better in cycling jerseys.

I’m just about to have a Zwift ride. Not sure where yet.
