Well I find that behaviour scary and upsetting.

Then I thought, no that sounds ridiculous, this is just a message board, it’s not real life.

But actually this board means a lot to me, and that is what I genuinely feel. I’ve had no problems with Proth, I see exactly the point you’re making. I’m sure he would be a lovely bloke to meet in real life, but last night (to me) it felt like he was prowling the board and waiting to pounce. (Too emotive? It’s what I felt). So this might be just my problem which is why I’ve been posting less.

My comment to you about also picking up on unpleasantness wasn’t really just aimed at Proth either, it was to try to get some balance. I know norway was a marmite poster, but this board misses him. He would always make sure certain comments didn’t go unchecked and I understand he was disliked for that by lots of posters, but not me. I think it was needed.
