i was in london staying in the union jack club (a squaddie hotel) prior to a new posting so went out for a couple of beer to a pub (dunno where) and a weird f**k sidled up beside me said hello and asked me if he could buy me a drink. all my internal alarm bells went off like i'd just been struck by a bolt of lightening. bam, out the door cab back to the UJ club, bed. It wasn't until years later i made the connection. if it was a connection but i'm fairly sure that was him. probably wasn't him but blimey, dodged a f**king bullet there if so. him, not me
