I think that is a bit disingenuous

life involves a constant assessment between taking risks and trying to live to the fullest. 17k people die in UK each year from flu, but it's not selfish to be out and about during flu epidemics.

Perhaps this will be much more severe in terms of casualties than flu (perhaps not).

But in any case, person A wishing to live freely is no less valid, or more selfish, than Person B wanting everyone locked down because they are frightened of what the virus can do.
