Competition rules say season must be completed within a year don't they?

So that's until the end of July. Realistically carrying on the current season past July surely won't happen. I've never heard such a thing happen anywhere in any sport. It's supposed to be a single season, you can't just keep dragging it out. If you really can't finish it in a year you can't finish it. Put it behind you and move on...
