Yes the government did but the league/clubs will be holding out in the hope that

things get better to such a degree as games can go ahead.

I suspect they know deep down this is unlikely but that's the only possibility of finishing the season I would think.

If it doesn't happen and it drags on longer then I think they will have no choice but to void it.
