I'm sure we do, but the temptation of authorities is to listen to those experts whose

advice fits in with what they already want to do.

There are a spectrum of opinions on the best way to act and I have very little faith in the government's willingness and/or capacity to choose the best options.

Remember there was a fuss over them hiring a eugenicist recently and similarly repugnant views of other govt advisors?
