What they said about the schools is that

It’s not a virus that appears to be particularly harmful to children which would be a normal reason to close schools.

They also said it would impact on key workers ability to work if kids are off school abs that any closures, if they happen, will need to be for a long time to be effective do shouldn’t happen til they think it’s necessary.

Which all kind of makes sense although I also get the counter arguments,
