yes the message reads as most people are going to get it whatever we do

so at least 80% of people will get it at some point this year so lets not all get it at the same time so we can maximise the recovery of those who do need to go to hospital. The numbers are going to be big 1% of 60M is not small but if we can keep it to that its much better than 2% or worse if everyone gets at the same time and can't be looked after. Seems sensible and quite pragmatic really no chance of a vaccine this year so we have to just accept that no magic cure.
