Think Liverpool's players are somewhat better technically than ours.

Pass better, retain better. If you take two passes to cross the halfway line you probably have a better chance retaining the ball than a team that takes six passes all things being equal. And if we lose a few and end up with less gifted players next year it could get worse - only caveat is we'll be playing in the champs.
