the defence held out pretty well, under an utter bombardment of crosses for about 25 minutes.

The problem was terrible use of the ball to relieve the pressure in any way, and the failure of the midfield to stem the flow of crosses.

Not sure we really should be playing 4-2-3-1 formation against this Sheff Utd team.
