I think its his way of saying he doesn't want to go over old ground

which ends up with both sides of the argument having their own valid points and we should in reality, agree to disagree

That said, it would beg the question of why he posted all smug that every worthy out is wrong when there is opinions for both sides that are valid

Or just a provoking wind up
