Depends how much you want to invest

If it’s a reasonably small amount I would suggest a FTSE all share tracker.
You want to leave it from what you’ve said, so I’m guessing you’re not looking for ongoing advice?
Hargreaves Lansdown are pretty good but they’re certainly not the cheapest.
For larger investment amounts I would seek advice as the cost of advice can easily be covered by the quality of funds recommended.
