I suppose they've done their research and found that this kind of bizbabble is effective, but I find it cringeworthy personally.
I used to work somewhere (fortunately on the wage of a different company) where they had a few phrases like that littered around - it just made me think about the depths they'd go to squeeze a bit more effort out of the staff they were already underpàying
