Emi and Stiepi are the only two players undeniably on Pukki's wavelength

even in his two latest brief appearances, Emi played Pukki clean through v Liverpool, and then found him (bot clean through) straight away v Wolves.

Your downer on him seems odd.

I do get that his reaction to losing the ball isn't always the best, and that he can be petulant. But he performed superbly in mid-season, so I'm intrigued to know exactly what's happened since his latest brief injury.

In terms of against the ball, he's one of our most successful ball-winners too. He does sometimes wander out of position, which Rupp won't, but it's a risk / reward situation isn't it?

In trying to tighten up, we've completely lost our attacking threat.

Maybe we're just nowhere near good enough whoever plays...
