When in my experience it is clearly the make which is a more significant factor. Drivers of older BMWs are just as much w**kers as of older cars.

I would never buy a BMW, Mercedes or Volvo.

My order of car w**kerishness (from most to a bit less) would be

1.BMW
2. Mercedes
3. Audi
4. Volvo
