i'd think kayaks are fine low profile low in the water,canadian canoes are big flat sided

blocks with poor aerodynamics. you can fit a sail though and sail canoe but broads aint big enough for that you need a big old scottish loch or similar. get the technique right on the river with the wind behind you and the paddle as a tiller and boy, it's this kind of moment User Posted Link
