Have you ever seen that 70s sitcom on The Day Today?

It's called "Them Next Door" I think - consists of this one man in a dodgy jumper claiming not to understand his Asian neighbour (who speaks perfectly good English) and misintepreting his requests for sugar as a demand to be punched in the face.

Spot on for Morris, IMO - 70s sitcoms are mostly rubbish.
