If you don't get power you cannot enact any policies that actually make peoples lives better.
Things like same sex marriage and min wage were at one time on the opposite sides of the political spectrum..... now they have almost universal bi partisan support from all political parties.
While you might like Corbyn and his policies, you have to face the fact that the vast majority of the UK voters don't.
The only way to grow you base (AND BECOME ELECTABLE) is to move further to the center.
Blair was a reaction to the exact same thing happening now in the Labour party.
Maybe some of you are too young to remember.
