not strictly true they have to have a second home that they can use when not on duty

i qualify to be a yeoman warder but, f**kdats**t. also when i'm 65 i can become a chelsea pensioner but that means i'd have to give up my army pension so that is effectively being incarcerated in the royal chelsea hospital. on the flip side however you do get days out to the footy at stamford bridges and the wimbledons and the flower show. f**kdats**t. good on the chelsea pensioners and the beefeaters not knocking them. not my mug of brew though.
