Ive got both

google home through my Sonos play one speaker and echo as a stand alone

I prefer the echo i find the app on the phone easier to use for when i set up a timer for one of the plugs i have and when using Hive

but google home is better when you ask it a question when google gives you a answer you can ask it another one without using the wake up phrase , but with Alexa you have to use the wake up phrase each time its really what you feel happier with
