When our daughter was a few months old, I took her to Sainsburys

Did a 'big shop' with her in the trolley seat, unloaded at the car, drove home and then opened the boot...

Only to find that having put her in to her car seat, I had entirely failed to unload a trolley full of shopping and literally pushed it back in to its bay with every bag still in it.
