Anyone else remember when interest rates were 15%?

Back in the early 90s under John 'ERM' Major? I can't be the only one that thinks house prices are utterly bats**t mental and that any deviation from the current approx zero interest rates will end in things going very pear shaped, very quickly?

Average London Gross income 34K / Average London house price 653K (thanks google). Combine that with an election (sorry) that will result in brexit or Marxism...
