Its a horrible time...but it's the right thing to do. You have my sympath

First time i really cried as an adult (22) when we lot our first labrador. The dog we have now is only 2 and I always try and make the most of my time with her. Dreading the day it comes to that. But until then... Never be in too much of a hurry on a walk. Let them have a good sniff round...throw that ball another few times, it's not boring for them. Look at them with their ears flapping in the wind as they try and pick up a scent in the air... remember those times. You'll smile again at the memory one day.
