Just indulged in a bit of nostalgia

I watched the final games of the season on the 2001/2002 season when we made the play-offs by the skin of our teeth and a load of memories came flooding back.

Similarly, we are probably in the same position we were 4 years ago as we are in right now when we made the final dash in the final few weeks of the season. We were 9th or 10th, our season had almost gone and the promise shown up to around Christmas had vanished, then we went for it.

This got me thinking, will we go for it? will we repeat what we did in 2002? Will we make a dash for the play-offs? Will our final game against Wolves be the game where both sides know they will be in the play-offs if they win? This instilled some elements of optimism in me after what has been a turgid season to say the least.

There is a chance, whether we take or not remains to be seen.
