the "idea" that politics are important

the ego overrides pretty much anything else, but in the end of course it won't matter at all.

the worst thing about politics in general is the instrinsic importance of the ego. the self importance buys into the ego like nothing else with regards the current socio-political situation.

what the current socio-political environment does is that it distracts from the main understanding of life within itself, almost in a deliberate sense, that is, it's importance. the exxagerated importance somewhat deliberatley detracts from far more important issues, not just in general, but from internal political issues.

we now have a situation of which orwell incorrectly predicted and huxley did. a generation of brainwashed cretins that think they think but have missed the point.

i dont have any children but i dont envy anyone who has.
