Not really harking back to the "good old days"

But there are a lot of fans who say we can't get rid of Worthy because "he took us to the premiership." Well yes he did but in my eyes the premiership is where we ought to be (particularly having got there last season)and mid table in the prem ought to be our realistic ambition not this current satisfaction with having got there once and had a jolly nice year taking on the big boys!

Worthy did well to get us up buit since then has been an unmitigated failure.

As for the football yes i agree it has been crap for a long time now but that doesn't mean we should just accept it and abandon all hope of us ever getting back to playing the type of passing game we became known for. The fact is you tolerate unattractive football when it gets you results but a combination of unattractive football and poor results will not be tolerated.
