Anyone know if Andy Hughes was officially 'relieved' of the 1st Team Captain's armband ?

If so, when did it happen and was it ever announced by the Club?
As David Cuffley said in the Evening News last night, Flemo had it when Hughes was out injured and quietly kept it after Hughes came back.
