"The Ipswich manager, Joe Royle, chose to hide behind Naylor's departure, insisting 'I'm trying to bite my tongue, but our season is one of injuries and of exasperation with referees. He's agreed to look at the video, but it's effectively ruined the contest. We have had some ridiculous sendings-off this year. I'm disappointed with the reaction of the Preston players, who harassed the referee to send him off, and in the end the extra man told'."

That is an uber-blub. He's moaned about injuries, about this sending off, about other sendings off, about the ref and about the Preston players, and he's also managed to suggest that if it hadn't been for the sending off they would have won. Expert whinging.
