There must be a rumbling of cart wheels on the cobbles of the A11 towards London accompanied by disgruntled murmering 'neath the glow of burning torches. We must gather our pitchforks and descend upon Parliament in our millions to vent our collective spleen . A word has crept into this beautiful language of ours which is so repulsive and abhorrent that I can hardly bring myself to type it. Goodness me, I have even heard it used frequently on the BBC (*gasp*). We must put an end to this insidiousness and we must do it swiftly before the very fabric of our cherished society is eroded and washed away. I support the very notion of free speech but not cheap speech. We must harangue the House of Commons to take up this fight and eradicate the word "texted" from common parlance and liquidate those that use it.
Angry of Tonbridge Wells.
